Make your selection (fret/string ranges, reveal/display times, (non)random, number of sets) to set up your flashcard session. Start and Stop Flashcards is similar to the buttons in the main display in that it starts/stops the flashcards to pop up. You can also use the keyboard shortcuts indicated (hold down the Ctrl-key and hit the "s" key to get started). The Note-Range opens a submenu with a number of choices for the range you want to work in. The most useful is to go for the "Selected Fret Range" a choice that makes use of the range that you limit via the menu "Range".
